Five adorable baby blanket patterns for beginners

Some of the things I like very much to crochet are the baby blankets! Not only they are pretty easy to make but they are also adorable!
Why baby blankets? Well first of all they make a great gift for a newborn, a baby and even a toddler and can be used in many ways: as a blanket (of course) for the baby's bed, for the stroller to keep the baby warm outside and even as a rug on which the baby can sit on while playing!
I've searched a lot for great and easy to follow pattern and here are five of my favorites! Enjoy!

1. Pink and White Shells Baby Afghan
This is such a great baby blanket! I made this with acrylic yarn and I've used the 5mm hook and the colors I used are red and white. I an still working on this project but when it's done, I will write a post about it.
